  My company hosted an event at the Heart Rock Cafe today--everyone commented on how great the food was and the pleasant atmosphere. The staff was helpful and courteous and went above and beyond what I expected. We'll be back again!

  I went to the Heart Rock back in May 2008 and it was very dirty. Garbage overflowing, the counter where the workers prepare sandwiches was dirty, I went in for coffee and asked what was the coating on one of the steamers to heat milk and I was told they cook eggs there in the morning. - oh I forgot to mention it was 3:00 in the afternoon when I came in. Flys everywhere - back door open and fresh baked cookies cooling on one of the counters with flys all over them. Never again.

  The live music on Friday nights is terrific. The Genesis sandwich is the best I've ever had with a delicious green salad on the side (a good deal). The only thing that makes this place less of a slice of heaven (It is a Christian based cafe with ministry as part of its mission), is the blaring Fox News all the time (except for Friday nights). Ugh! So much for love based ministry with that vitriol spewing news station overriding the lovely quiet reading, meditating, internet friendly back room. It is so loud and offensive that I don't think it is worth the free wifi or the perfect sandwich.

  My husband and I visited Heart Rock in October 2009. The place was spotless, comfortable and free wifi! Great ambience and the coffee and ice cream were great. We definitely plan to visit again and enjoy the back garden.
